INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — For 5-year-old Miles, a treadmill isn’t a piece of gym equipment. It’s a front-row seat to his favorite show, “Kids Picture Show,” and a path toward independence.
Miles has spastic cerebral palsy. For two years, he’s been working with his therapist, Cory Brewer, at 321Go Kids to turn hard work into play.
“The progress has been incredible,” said Chris Marcum, Miles’ dad. “It makes all the difference when your child actually wants to go to therapy. This place has become part of our routine, part of our lives.”
“We believe in the power of play,” said Brett Fischer, owner of 321Go Kids. “When kids are having fun, they’re more engaged. They work harder without even knowing it.”
The center provides pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. It has locations in McCordsville and Newcastle and serves families throughout Central Indiana.
Choosing a pediatric therapy provider can be an important decision for families.
Chris and his family searched for a setting where Miles would feel comfortable and motivated to participate in therapy. They found that environment at 321Go Kids.
Over time, Miles and Cory have developed a strong therapeutic relationship. Their sessions incorporate activities that help Miles work toward his goals while celebrating his progress along the way.
Fischer encourages parents who have concerns about their child’s development to seek an evaluation and explore available resources.
“Don’t wait. Early intervention makes a huge difference,” Fischer said. “We offer evaluations to help families understand what their child needs and how we can help.”
321Go Kids develops individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs and goals. Therapy can include physical, occupational and speech services, depending on the child’s evaluation.

The center offers evaluations to help families determine which services may be appropriate for their child.
For Miles and his family, therapy remains an ongoing journey. Each session provides an opportunity to build new skills, work toward new milestones and make progress through play.
