…here at 321go Kids I realized I was right where I was supposed to be.

When did you first know you wanted to pursue a career in therapy? When I was a teenager, I received occupational therapy services, though I didn't realize that's what they were at the time. After working with such an amazing team, I knew I wanted to do the same thing. I also knew I had to work in pediatrics. When I was in school I had a brief thought that pediatrics would be too difficult but during my clinicals here at 321Go Kids I realized I was right where I was supposed to be.

Who inspires you in your profession? The kids I treat everyday and their families! My favorite part of treating is getting to see and celebrate every win, big and small!

What is your favorite way to engage with kids? I try to meet each kid where they are and learn their interests so that I can build a connection with them that allows them to feel safe while playing and makes every activity feel more like play and fun and less like work.

Tell us about a challenge that you watched a child overcome? My favorite part about treating is celebrating every win no matter how big or small the challenge was that the child overcame. Some of my favorite wins are when kiddos try new activities and end up loving them.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, painting, and hiking.
