Watching them grow, gain confidence, and reach new milestones has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience.

What are you excited about being able to do at 321go Kids? I’m excited about the opportunity to support children and their families during their time at 321go Kids. I enjoy creating positive interactions with both children and parents, especially during situations that may feel stressful or overwhelming. I find value in being able to provide compassion and creativity to make those times feel as simple as possible.

What lead you to serving through 321go Kids? While studying exercise science at Ball State University with plans to pursue occupational therapy, I discovered 321Go Kids as a potential internship site. After interviewing with Dara and touring the facility, I immediately felt it was the right fit for me with how everyone was very welcoming and interacted with the kids during their sessions.

What is your favorite way to engage with kids? One of the things I love most is seeing the kids come in excited and ready for their sessions. Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and it makes every day rewarding. I’ve really enjoyed building relationships with each child and getting to know their personalities over time. Watching them grow, gain confidence, and reach new milestones has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience.

Where else have you worked? Before coming here I worked at a daycare looking after infants and preschoolers. Over the summer when I went back home from school I worked for a company that deals with running baseball and softball tournaments.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work I love hanging out with friends and seeing family. I enjoy reading, especially outside when it’s warm and sunny. I also enjoy anything crafty like scrapbooking or making things as small gifts.
