I love helping kids reach their own physical potential in a fun and loving environment.

When did you first know you wanted to pursue a career in therapy? I was in the 8th grade when I decided to become a PTA. My mammy had polio as a child and she truly inspired me to help other children!

Who inspires you in your profession? I am inspired by every therapist I’ve worked with… They’ve all been great! However, working with Brett & Diann has confirmed to me that this is where I’m meant to be. Their daily love, strength and patience truly drives me to always grow.

What is your favorite way to engage with kids? PLAYING! I love playing with kids & listening to their stories. It makes me feel like I have found my purpose.

Tell us about a challenge that you watched a child overcome. I met my husband when I was 12, but before that I met his brother. He immediately became my friend. He has a mental disability that remains undiagnosed. One of the hardest things I’ve seen him face are his meltdowns. But seeing him work on them and continue to grow inspires me to conquer my own challenges.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Anything, as long as I’m with my family and friends, but especially eating!

Anything else that you’d like to share? For fun, I jumped out of a plane!
